TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: July 5, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QueTie (“the Service”), operated by QueTie (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QueTie is a B2B SaaS platform that provides a QR-based music request and staff approval layer for licensed venues using Soundtrack for Business. The Service allows venue guests to browse, search, request, and vote on music tracks. Venue staff review and approve or reject requests through an admin dashboard. Only staff-approved actions are forwarded to the venue’s connected Soundtrack account for playback.

QueTie does not stream, host, or distribute music. All music playback is handled exclusively by Soundtrack Your Brand AB (“Soundtrack”) through the venue’s own Soundtrack subscription.

3. Account Registration

To access the admin dashboard, you must create a staff account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to update your information to keep it accurate and complete.

You may not share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties. Each staff member must have their own account.

4. Soundtrack Integration

QueTie integrates with Soundtrack for Business via Soundtrack’s public API. To use the integration, a venue owner or authorized representative must connect their Soundtrack account to QueTie through a one-time secure authentication flow.

Soundtrack credentials are exchanged for access tokens, encrypted using AES-256-GCM, and stored per-organization in QueTie’s database. The plaintext credentials are discarded immediately after token exchange and are never stored, logged, or displayed.

You remain responsible for maintaining an active Soundtrack subscription and for compliance with Soundtrack’s own terms of service. QueTie is not responsible for any interruption of service caused by Soundtrack API changes, outages, or account terminations.

5. Music Licensing

QueTie is a control layer only. It does not provide music licenses, public performance rights, or royalty payments. Venue operators are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required music licenses for their jurisdiction, including but not limited to public performance licenses, for any music played in their venue.

In the UAE and other territories, venues must hold valid public performance licensing from the relevant copyright authorities before using the Service. QueTie does not verify, validate, or guarantee your compliance with applicable copyright laws.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or Soundtrack accounts you do not own
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use the Service to play music in venues without proper licensing

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by QueTie and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of their respective owners. Soundtrack and Soundtrack Your Brand are trademarks of Soundtrack Your Brand AB.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QueTie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

QueTie’s total liability for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to QueTie in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, reliability, or accuracy of the Service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (to the address associated with your account) or through the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
